Our vision is to be an innovative provider of high quality recycling services that deliver social and economic value.
Kerb sort collections maintain material quality and in recent years we have developed two new products for this type of domestic collection service.
We designed the Kerb-Sort vehicle in partnership with Offaly-based Company Romaquip and now have 45 out on the road in Northern Ireland. Councils in Wales and Scotland are also now using the Kerb-Sort too.
We also recognised a need to improve the containers used for kerb sort recycling collections and worked with Leeds based company Straight to design the Wheelie Box that is easier for householders to use and allows them to recycle a wider range of materials whilst maintaining quality. They are now being used across 300,000 homes in the UK, including 50,000 in Northern Ireland.
Our Wheelie Box model has been adopted as the Welsh “blueprint” for recycling and is the preferred model within the Scottish Recycling Charter, and we are keen to see this become the preferred option for kerbside recycling collections in England and Northern Ireland too.
