Bryson Recycling Staff Volunteer at MACS
A team of staff from Bryson Recycling took a break from their normal day jobs this week to volunteer with MACS.
The local charity provide a range of much needed services for children and young people who have experienced difficult times in their lives. Their core services include supported housing, floating support and wellbeing support with a local focus on housing, homelessness and mental health.
MACS are launching a brand new service in the coming months, a Therapeutic Community which will become home to children with complex needs which cannot be met in mainstream children’s homes or foster care.
They were looking for some help to get the house ready, so we gathered a team of volunteers to spend the day stripping wallpaper. Everyone really enjoyed having the opportunity to help out such a worthy cause.
Bryson Recycling are also supporting MACS through their Recycling Rewards campaign where £1 is donated for every tonne of paper, plastic and glass recycled through their kerbside box service. To find out more about this campaign please click here.
